November Mission Model Discussion - M3: Inspection Drone

Welcome to the November Mission Model Discussion! From now until November 22nd this space will feature ONE part of the FIRST LEGO League CITY SHAPER game challenge per day. The Robot Game is only 1/4th of the overall FIRST LEGO League challenge for teams this year!
This post is meant to be an aid, not a replacement for carefully reading the Game Guide and Updates!

At The Beginning of the Match

The inspection drone is set on the Northwest part of the field, immediately North of the tree, West of the bridge. The drone should be set so that the hoop and roters match the outline on the mat.

Points

10 Points - If the Inspection Drone is supported by axle A on the bridge

Required Scoring Conditions

At the end of the match the Inspection Drone is supported or hanging from the axle with the blue knob (axle A) West side of the bridge.

Note from the Oregon Head Referees

Be sure it is built correctly - see Update RG02. It scores only on its Bridge axle.

Real-World Impact

Drones provide a relatively inexpensive and safe way to see details at height or in dangerous for humans to access locations. Mounting equipment to drones allows better imaging, greater sensor use, better access to remote locations, and makes all of our imaging and recording technology even more effective.

Reminders

The Drone starts on the mat. There is only one axle on the bridge. This one is fairly straight-forward.
