November Mission Model Discussion: M17 - SLINGSHOT

Welcome to the November Mission Model Discussion! From now until just before Thanksgiving this space will feature ONE part of the FIRST LEGO League HYDRO DYNAMICS game challenge per day. The Robot Game is only 1/4th of the overall FIRST LEGO League challenge for teams this year! This post is meant to be an aid, not a replacement for carefully reading the Challenge Guide!
At the Beginning of the Match: The Slingshot starts in Base with one Rain and one Dirty Water pre-loaded into the model.
Required for Scoring: The Slingshot is completely in its Target
Conditions: None
Score: 20 Points
Bonus: The Slingshot is in the Target AND both the Rain Water and Dirty Water are also in the Target.
Bonus Points: 15 Points (for a total of 35)
Note from Oregon Head Referee Tom:  Scores at the end of the match if the Slingshot model is Completely In its Target volume. Score bonus points if the Dirty Water and Rain are also Completely In the target volume. The Barrier model is outside of the target.

Real World Impact: At its simplest, the Slingshot is a portable water cleaning system for a community that needs access to clean water, but may not have much electricity or infrastructure. Using even the dirtiest water, the slingshot uses vaporization and compression to separate clean drinkable water from sedimentation and bacteria allowing a community to have consistent access to clean drinking water. Designed for use in remote or isolated communities, the Slingshot can also be brought into areas facing a water crisis and set up to run in an emergency capacity.

Discussion: This mission requires navigating the full table. Is this a good mission for your 2.5-minute game run? Does it take too much time, or can you pair it with other missions in the area?
