November Mission Model Discussion: M03 - PUMP ADDITION

Welcome to the November Mission Model Discussion! From now until just before Thanksgiving this space will feature ONE part of the FIRST LEGO League HYDRO DYNAMICS game challenge per day. The Robot Game is only 1/4th of the overall FIRST LEGO League challenge for teams this year! This post is meant to be an aid, not a replacement for carefully reading the Challenge Guide!
At the Begining of the Match: The PUMP ADDITION is set on the mat sot the front edge of the base is aligned with the mark on the map.
Required for Scoring: The PUMP ADDITION is completely in contact with and completely inside the PUMP ADDITION Target zone on the mat
Conditions: NONE
Score: 20 Points
Note from Oregon Head Referee Tom:  Scores at the end of the match based on contact with the mat only. Contact must be completely inside the target.
REMEMBER: The Target Area extends to their adjacent wall, even if there is a gap between the mat and the wall. Be careful that you understand “Completely In” and “In contact with”. “Completely In” usually refers to the entire volume of an area or Target. “In contact with” usually just refers to the surface of the mat.

Real World Impact: As human growth exceeds the capacity of current systems, pump stations cannot maintain the demand for water. Adding resources, like a pump addition, to the water system improves water access for both homes and industrial uses.

Discussion: The pump addition is located near several other missions. If your team performs this mission what other missions will you do at the same time?
